Vitamin B supplements may help people to fight depression, research suggests.   The B-complex vitamins are essential to mental and emotional well-being,  Vitamin B-12 and other B vitamins play a role in producing brain chemicals that affect mood and other brain functions. They cannot be stored in our bodies, so we depend entirely on our daily diet to supply them.
